abstract |
The disclosure provides a remote control switch of gene interference in living cells by using Oligonucleotides on a Nanoplasmonic Carrier-based Optical Switch (ONCOS) and a near infrared (NIR) laser transmitter. It is possible activate a variety of different nanoscale receivers by tuning optical transmission frequency, which is selectively determined by matching the resonant transmission frequency with the gold nanoplasmonic particle (GNP) carriers. |
