abstract |
Provided is an optically anisotropic material having a high light resistance. Also provided are an optical device having a high light resistance and an optical information recorder/reproducer using the same.nAn optically anisotropic material is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing one or more kinds of polymerizable compounds represented by general formula CH 2 =CR 1 -COO-K-Cy-Cy-L-OCO-CR 2 =CH 2 in an amount of 5% by mol or more. Because of having a high light resistance, a retardation plate (4) constructed by using this optically anisotropic material is usable as an optical head device which is suitable for capacity enlargement with the use of a blue laser as a light source (1). |
