The invention relates to a method for obtaining a compound having formula (II), in which a methylenedioxybenzene compound having general formula (I) is treated with an alkaline or alkaline earth salt of a glycol in an aprotic polar solvent, wherein substituent R represents a group selected from among: a linear or branched C 1 -C 4 alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl group, optionally substituted at at least one C with at least one group selected from among -OH, -CO-, -NH 2 , -COOH and -COOR', and wherein R' is a linear or branched C 1 -C 4 alkyl group. The compounds having formula (I) are advantageously obtained from safrole or piperonal. |
