abstract Disclosed herein is an external composition for skin whitening or anti-aging. More specifically, disclosed is an external composition for skin whitening or anti-aging, which contains 1) a silica hydride loaded with anions, and 2) at least one natural antioxidant selected from the group consisting of lipoic acid, tocopherol, coenzyme Qior selenium, vitamin A and vitamin C, so as to remove free radicals or increase the activity of skin's defense factors associated with anti-aging and maintain the initial concentration of vitamins in cosmetic preparations, thus showing excellent skin whitening and skin wrinkle-reducing effects.
