The invention relates to a method for purifying 1,4-butynediol, wherein 1,4-butynediol is continuously fed to a disk separator that is operated with an acceleration factor of 6000 to 12000 and the purified butynediol is continuously removed, and to a method for hydrogenating 1,4-butynediol to produce 1,4-butenediol and 1,4-butanediol using the purified 1,4-butynediol. |
