The present invention relates to a mixture for inhibiting the growth of algae which contains a ceramic powder for generating anions, and to an antifouling paint constituting an antifouling system employing the same, and it relates to a production method for such an antifouling paint. Specifically, the mixture for inhibiting the growth of algae of the present invention relates to a mixture for inhibiting the growth of algae which comprises tourmaline and monazite powders for generating anions, and zirconia for releasing stable anions from these ceramic powders, and also sulphur-metal soap for promoting the activity of the released anions. When an antifouling staff gauge was produced using the antifouling paint of the present invention and was then tested, it proved possible to solve the problem of the inability to read the markings of gauges due to the accretion of algae. |
