abstract |
A process for producing a molded silicone rubber sponge is provided which comprises injecting a sponge-forming silicone rubber composition into a cavity. The process is characterized in that the gas present in the cavity is discharged after the sponge-forming silicone rubber composition is cured and before the mold is opened. By the process, a molded silicone rubber sponge free from failures such as a chip can be efficiently produced. |
