abstract |
A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire can, without sacrificing productivity and deteriorating work environment, form an inner liner layer consisting of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composite. Powder (8) having an average particle diameter which is smaller than or equal to 1 mm and consisting of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composite is ejected and made to adhere to the inner surface of a tire not yet vulcanized or a tire having been vulcanized. After that, the inner surface of the tire is pressurized and heated to thermo-bond the powder (8) to the inner surface of the tire, thereby forming an inner liner layer (7). |
