abstract |
Disclosed is a fuel battery (1) comprising a fuel battery cell (10) composed of an electrolyte membrane (17) sandwiched between an anode (fuel electrode) (13) and a cathode (air electrode) (16), and a fuel supply mechanism (40) disposed on the anode (fuel electrode) side of the fuel battery cell (10) and which supplies fuel to the anode (fuel electrode) (13). The fuel battery (1) further comprises a moisture-retention layer (50) which is disposed in the cathode (air electrode) of the fuel battery cell (10) and which is impregnated with the water generated by the cathode (air electrode) (16), and a heat-dissipating member (70) having an externally protruding heat-dissipating portion (71) for releasing the heat generated by the fuel battery cell (10). |
