Method for acquisition of compound capable of acting on glucose metabolism/lipid metabolism |
abstract |
Disclosed is a method for the screening of a substance which can modulate the interaction between at least two components selected from PHF2, ARID5B, FXR and a complex thereof or a substance which can modulate the gene expression through FXR or a glucagon signaling system. The method for the screening of the above-mentioned modulation substance comprises the steps of: contacting at least two proteins selected from the group consisting of PHF2, ARID5B and FXR with each other in the presence of any one of substances to be tested; detecting the formation of a complex of the proteins; and selecting a substance which modulates the interaction between the proteins or a substance which modulates the gene expression or the glucagon signaling system from the substances based on the results of the detection. |
