Extrusion coating polyethylene composition A), comprising a) 70 wt% - 98wt% of a high pressure low density polyethylene homopolymer, produced in a tubular reactor, having a melt index of 2 to 8 g/10 min according to ISO 1133 (190°C, 2.16 kg) and a density of 915 to 935 kg/m 3 according to ISO 1183 and b) 2 wt% - 30 wt of a long chain branched, low-density polyethylene, having a melt index MFR of 2.5 to 10.0 g/10 min according to ISO 1133 (190°C, 2.16 kg), a density of 910 to 935 kg/m 3 according to ISO 1183 and - a dynamic viscosity η 0.05 at a shear rate of 0.05 rad/s and a dynamic viscosity η 300 rad/s which satisfy the following relationship: η 300 ≤ 108 Pa*s + 0.0253* η 0.05 and/or - a phase shift δ 0.5 at a frequency of 0.5 rad/s and a phase shift δ 300 at a frequency of 300 rad/s, which satisfy the following relationship: tan δ 300 ≥ 0.45 + 0.164* tan δ 0.05 and its use. |
