abstract The present invention provides novel 1,4-disubstituted phthalazine hedgehog pathway antagonists useful in the treatment of cancer. (I) wherein: R 1 is hydrogen, fluoro, cyano, trifluoromethyl, methoxy, or trifluoromethoxy; R 2 is hydrogen or methyl; and R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 and R 7 are independently hydrogen, chloro, fluoro, cyano, trifluoromethyl or trifluoromethoxy, provided that at least two of R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 and R 7 are hydrogen; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
