titleOfInvention A mushroom mycelium fermentate using acanthopanax bark as substrate, useful in the prevention and treatment of gastritis, and a pharmaceutical using the extract of said fermentate
abstract The present invention relates to a mushroom mycelium fermentate which uses Acanthopanax bark as substrate and is useful in preventing gastric injury caused by chemical factors and efficacious in improving gastric function damaged by chemical factors. This is achieved through the use of Acanthopanax bark, which is effective in the treatment of ulcers and fatigue and is efficacious against cancer, stomach ulcers, etc. The present invention relates more specifically to a pharmaceutical for use in the prevention and treatment of gastritis, comprising an extract obtained by acquiring a fermentate from the fermentation of mushroom spawn cultivated on a natural medium, wherein said natural medium comprises Acanthopanax bark [Acanthopanax senticosus (RUPR. et MAX.) HARMS (Eleutherococcus senticosus), Acanthopanax senticosus var. subinermis KITAGAWA (Eleutherococcus senticosus var. subinermis), Acanthopanax sessiliflorus (RUPR. et MAX.), SEEM. (Tilia), Acanthopanax chirisanense NAKAI (Jirisan Tilia), Acanthopanax koreanum  NAKAI (Island Tilia), Acanthopanax rufinerve NAKAI (Furry Tilia), Acanthopanax seoulense NAKAI (Seoul Tilia) and Acanthopanax sieboldianum MAKINO] (Oga Tree), and extracting said acquired fermentate with water or an aqueous solution of alcohol.
