The present invention relates to nanoparticles comprising a core of the formula XY and a ligand shell, where X = Zn, Cd, Hg, or Pb, and Y = O, S, Se or Te, wherein the ligand shell comprises at least two ligands L1 and L2, wherein L1 is selected from the group consisting of amino alkanethiols of the formula (1) where R1 is a divalent, linear, branched or aromatic hydrocarbon group with 1 to 4 carbons, and L2 is selected b) from the group of sulfonic acids of the formulas (2a) und (2b) (2a) (2), where R2 is a divalent, linear, branched or aromatic, unsubstituted or substituted, hydrocarbon group with 1 to 22 carbons, particularly one that is unsubstituted or substituted with F- or -OH, or b) from the group of alkyl benzoic acids of the formula (3), where R3 is a divalent, linear, branched or aromatic, unsubstituted or substituted, hydrocarbon group with 1 to 22 carbons, particularly one that is unsubstituted or substituted with F- or -OH. The invention further relates to methods for the production thereof and to the use thereof. |
