Methods and compounds effective in ameliorating conditions characterized by unwanted calcium channel activity, particularly N-type or T- type calcium channel activity.Specifically, a series of compounds containing di-t-butylphenyl piperazine derivatives of the general formula (1) is disclosed. The compounds are useful in the treatment of conditions such as pain and other diseases or disorders of hyperexcitability. |
