abstract | Disclosed are a method for genetic transformation of microalgae, thus transformed strain and protein obtained therefrom. The method for genetic transformation of microalgae of the present invention is characterized by including the steps of: (Sl) preparing a microalgae broth culture (S2) preparing an Agrobacterium broth culture, which harbors a vector containing foreign target genes! and (S3) mixing the microalgae broth culture and Agrobacterium broth culture and culturing the mixture. According to the present invention, it is possible to carry out transformation of microalgae without going through a pretreatment process, or using expensive equipment or materials, and maintain stable transformation, expressing genes in consistent way, by direct introduction of foreign target genes into DNA of microalgae chromosomes. |
