Conductive polymeric material, conductive polymer film, and conductive-polymer actuator comprising the same |
abstract |
A conductive polymeric material which repeatedly elongates, shrinks, or deforms with external stimuli, and can give a film which realizes a degree of deformation of 4% or higher in an ordinary indoor-humidity environment. The conductive polymeric material comprises a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(4-styrenesulfonic acid) composite (PEDOT/PSS) and a polymeric organic acid or polymeric organic salt added thereto. In particular, the conductive polymeric material is one in which the polymeric organic acid is poly(4-styrenesulfonic acid) (PSS-H) or the polymeric organic salt is the PSS-H in which the hydrogen ion has been replaced with a cation such as an alkali metal element ion or ammonium ion. The conductive polymeric material may further contain ethylene glycol in an amount of 3-20 wt.% based on the PEDOT/PSS solution. |
