Disclosed is a resin composition which has improved workability and processing speed in injection molding, film molding, blow molding, fiber spinning, extrusion foaming, bead foaming and the like by increasing the crystallization rate of a polyester resin which crystallizes slowly. The resin composition contains a biodegradable polyester and a compound represented by the following formula: NH 2 -CHR-COOH, which serves as a crystal nucleator. In the formula, R represents a hydrogen or a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group, and is preferably a hydrogen or a methyl group. The compound is preferably glycine or alanine, and is particularly preferably a γ-glycine crystal. |
