abstract |
A process for plasma display panel production which comprises forming a primer film on a dielectric layer by vapor deposition and then forming a protective layer by: applying to the primer film a crystal particle paste obtained by dispersing crystal particles of a metal oxide in a dispersion solvent which is classified into either aliphatic alcoholic solvents having an ether bond or polyhydric-alcohol solvents to thereby form a crystal-particle paste film; and then heating the crystal-particle paste film to remove the solvent and thereby adhere the crystal particles so that the particles are distributed throughout the whole surface. |
