A toner is provided which has satisfactory development stability even when improved in low-temperature fixability, and which can form a high-quality image satisfactory in non-infiltrating performance and color gamut performance. The toner is characterized in that the toner, in a dynamic viscoelasticity test, gives a loss tangent (tanδ) curve in which the tanδ has a maximum value (δa) in the temperature range of 28.0-60.0°C, the maximum value (δa) being 0.50 or more, has a minimum value (δb) in the temperature range of 45.0-85.0°C, the minimum value (δb) being 0.60 or less, and has a difference between themaximum value (δa) and the minimum value (δb), δa-δb, of 0.20 or more, and in which when the temperature giving the maximum value (δa) is expressed by Ta(°C) and the temperature giving the minimum value (δb) is expressed by Tb (°C), then the difference between the Ta and the Tb, Tb-Ta, is 5.0-45.0°C. The toner is further characterized in that in the dynamic viscoelasticity test, the toner gives a storage modulus (G') curve in which the storage modulus (G') at the Ta is 1.00×10 6 to 5.00×10 7 Pa. |
