abstract |
A composition for magnetic sheets is provided which can diminish unnecessary electromagnetic waves emitted from electronic appliances and inhibit electronic appliances from suffering electromagnetic interference. The composition rapidly cures at low temperatures. The composition is a material for a magnetic sheet which is inhibited from releasing halogen ions and does not cause wiring corrosion even when used around wiring, and which exerts no adverse influence on the environment. Also provided are: a process for producing a magnetic sheet from the composition for magnetic sheets; and a magnetic sheet produced by the process for magnetic-sheet production. The composition for magnetic sheets is characterized by comprising a binder, magnetic particles, and a hardener. The composition is further characterized in that the binder comprises a thermosetting organic resin and the hardener comprises a sulfonium borate complex represented by formula (1).
