A method of applying a makeup product to keratinous materials the method comprising, a) heating an outside surface (11, 202) of a piece of solid composition (S) in contact with or in the vicinity of a heater device, in particular heating an end of a stick of said composition, so as to heat said piece in localized manner to an elevated temperature in order to soften essentially only said outside surface; and b) applying the outside surface as softened in this way to the region for treatment, in particular the skin or the lips. |
