abstract The present invention is directed to rinse aid compositions with improved biodegradability that may be used in automated carwash operations to promote drying and improve the appearance of vehicles. The rinse aid compostion comprises : a) an emulsifier comprising of: i) at least one compound of formula (A), and ii) at least one compound of formula (B) wherein for both compounds of formula (A) and (B): R1 and R4 are each independently a C7-C21 alkyl or alkenyl; R2 and R3 are each independently a C1-C6 alkyl; X is an organic or inorganic anion; and b) a hydrophobe.
