abstract An ion mobility spectrometry and its method are provided. The ion mobility spectrometry includes: an electrode; an ion source, which is adjacent to the electrode. Thereof, the said ion mobility spectrometry also includes: one focusing oriented electrode or one group of focusing oriented electrodes, which is /are founded on the side of the ion source far away from the electrode and formed funnel-shaped. The focusing oriented electrode exports the ions from the ion source; A storage region is provided on the side that the focusing oriented electrode exports the ions, used to store the ions produced by the ion source. The ion source is separated with the storage region,thus easy to exchange the ion source.
