abstract Disclosed are: a composition which is highly safe and has an excellent effect of reducing a body fat and a neutral fat such as a visceral fat and a subcutaneous fat; and a food, a pharmaceutical preparation and a feed each comprising the composition. Specifically disclosed is a composition for oral administration, which comprises a carotenoid and a sphingolipid or a carotenoid and a flavonoid and/or a derivative thereof, preferably cryptoxanthin and a sphingolipid or cryptoxanthin and a flavonoid and/or a derivative thereof. Cryptoxanthin and/or the sphingolipid and/or the flavonoid may be derived from a citrus fruit. Preferably the citrus fruit is Unshu mandarin orange. The composition has an effect of reducing a body fat and/or an effect of reducing a neutral fat.
