abstract A polyimide tube consisting of a polyimide resin composition, characterized in that the polyimide resin composition has a needle filler of high thermal conductivity, such as carbon nanotube, dispersed in a polyimide resin in an amount of 15 vol.% or more based on the total volume of the composition, and that the degree of orientation of needle filler of high thermal conductivity expressed by the ratio of circumferential-direction elastic modulus/axial-direction elastic modulus of the polyimide resin composition is 1.3 or above. The polyimide tube having a high thermal conductivity, excellent mechanical strength and pushing-in strength, a high fixing performance and an excellent offset performance, a process for producing the tube and a fixing belt utilizing the tube as a base material can be provided.
