titleOfInvention Products and methods affecting cell and tissue growth
abstract The present invention relates to new products, and methods, which can be used in regulating cell and tissue growth. In particular, the present invention relates to new products, and methods, which can be used for improving cell or tissue growth. According to the method, glycosyltransferase activity in cell or tissue culture or growth system is increased, said glycosyltransferase activity being the glycosyltransferase activity of lysyl hydroxylase 3 (LH3) or LH enzyme capable of glycosylating hydroxylysine residues. By means of the i cell or tissue growth in cell or tissue cultures or in human or animal body can be regulated and cell growth of, for example, nerve cells, can be improved.
