abstract |
A curcumin-zinc compound and its solid dispersion are prepared. The uses of the curcumin-zinc compound and its solid dispersion are also described. Curcumin and zinc acetate were respectively dissolved in an organic solvent. The solution of zinc acetate was dropwise added to the solution of curcumin under nitrogen. The mixture was stirred and refluxed, then cooled and filtered. The precipitate was collected and washed, then dried under vacuum to give the curcumin-zinc compound. The curcumin-zinc compound and polyvinylpyrrolidone are dissolved in anhydrous alcohol in a mass ratio of 1:1~1:28 under nitrogen. The mixture was homogenized and filtered. The filtrate was processed by spray drying to give the solid dispersion of the curcumin-zinc compound. |
