abstract | There are provided a water-repellent, oil-repellent, and soil-resistant glass plate having improved water-repellent, oil-repellent, and soil-resistant properties, water releasing property (also referred to as water lubricity), and durability, such as wear resistance or whether resistance, a method of manufacturing the same, as well as transport equipment, construction, and optical equipment using the same. A super water-repellent, oil-repellent, and soil-resistant glass plate 10 is manufactured, a surface thereof being covered with a water-repellent, oil-repellent, and soil-resistant transparent particle 9 fixed thereto by sintering, by preparing transparent particles 1 having a water-repellent or oil-repellent coating 3, dispersing them in a solution containing metal alkoxide, applying and drying the obtained dispersion on a surface of a substrate glass 5, then heat-treating it, and forming a water-repellent, oil-repellent, and soil-resistant coating 8 on the surface of the substrate glass 5, to which the transparent particles are fixed by bonding. This super water-repellent, oil-repellent, and soil-resistant glass plate 10 is used for the transport equipment, the construction, or the optical equipment. |
