titleOfInvention Cooling tool
abstract Provided is a cooling tool which is suppressed in the uneven distribution of a cooling medium placed therein due to the fluidity of the medium and which can exert a sufficient cooling effect on the body. The cooling tool (301) of the third invention comprises both a flat sheath (302) obtained by piling up two rectangular covering sheets which each have both an outer sheet made of a material selected from among fiber, cotton, polyester, rayon, hemp, raised fabric, crepe, yoryu, towel cloth and so on and a backing made of a non-water-absorbing material fusible by high-frequency heating, e.g., polyvinyl chloride with the backings faced to each other and then forming, in the resulting pile, a peripheral contact-bonded area (306), annular partially contact-bonded areas (307) which are present in the inner region and are provided with through-holes (308) for heat dissipation, and linear intermediate contact-bonded areas (309) by bonding the backings to each other by high-frequency heating and a cooling medium (305) which contains a gel, polysodium acrylate, ammonium sulfate, sodium sulfate, glycerin, water, a mildewproofing agent, and so on and is placed in the sheath (302) in such a state that the flow of the medium is controlled by the peripheral contact-bonded area (306), the annular partially contact-bonded areas (307) and the linear intermediate contact-bonded areas (309) and has such a reversible constitution that the sheath (302) can be used with either side out.
