A method for producing salts of the formula (I) (B+)n x Ay-, wherein B denotes a cation, which contains at least one nitrogen atom, A denotes an anion, and n denotes an integer between 1 and 3, x and y each denote an integer between 1 and 3, and the product of x and y is equal to n, by reaction of salts of the formula (II) (B+)n x Cy- wherein B and n, x, and y have the above meanings and C denotes a compound, which is different from A, having one or more carboxylate groups (referred to as carboxylates in short), with the ammonium salt of the anion A or with the protonic acid of the anion A in the presence of ammonia. |
