The present invention relates to a composite edge for producing double or multiple pane insulation glass or solar modules, wherein a primary sealant and a secondary sealant are provided. In order to create a sealing compound that can also achieve lasting stability of the composite edge under high stresses, it is provided as part of the invention that the primary sealant contains a polymer modified with special reactive groups and overall has the following composition: a) 30 - 60% by weight, preferably 40 to 50% by weight, olefinic polymers, Mn 400 - 600,000 D, preferably from 5,000 to 300,000 D, b) 2 - 35% by weight, preferably 5 - 25% by weight, modified polymer, c) 5 - 40% by weight, preferably 10 to 30% by weight fine-particulate, inert fillers, d) 5 - 25% by weight, preferably 10 to 15% by weight, hydrophilic substances, e) 0 - 3% by weight anti-aging agents, in particular antioxidants or UV protection agents, and the secondary sealant is a silicon-based sealant. As a result, a composite is obtained from the sealing compound for the silicon secondary sealing, which is considerably more stable to outside influences (such as the migration of softeners from incompatible materials), even at high temperatures or temperature fluctuation strain. |
