abstract |
Corrosion may be inhibited in a separation unit by treating at least one surface of the separation unit with a corrosion inhibitor. The corrosion inhibitors are those having a general formula (I); wherein each R is the same or different; each R is selected from the group consisting of : a hydrogen moiety, an alkyl moiety; an aromatic moiety and moieties having both an unsaturation and an aromatic group; and the sum of the number of carbons in the two R groups is from about 6 to about 30. |
