A process for producing a coated preparation, characterized by coating a core substance containing an active ingredient with a coating fluid which comprises: a resin composition obtained by copolymerizing a polyvinyl alcohol having an average degree of polymerization of 1,300 or lower with at least one polymerizable vinyl monomer in a proportion of from 6/4 to 9/1 by weight; water; and an organic solvent. This coating fluid, which comprises a composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol copolymer as a base, water, and an organic solvent, can be used to efficiently coat a preparation (medicine, veterinary medicine, agricultural-chemical preparation, fertilizer, or food) which is in the form of a tablet, granules, fine particles, etc. |
