The invention concerns the method of recycling waste polyurethane foams to a polyol mixture characterized in that the waste polyurethane is decomposed by the reaction with a low- molecular-weight polyhydric alcohol selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, butanediol, pentanediol, hexanediol, 2-methylpropane-l,3-diol, diethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, triethylene glycol, tripropylene glycol, trimethylolpropane (2,2- bis(hydroxymethyl)propan-l-ol), glycerol or their mixtures under the condition that the waste polyurethane and polyhydric alcohol are used in the weight ratio at least 3:1 and at most 1:3 and the reaction mixture is subjected to the action of electromagnetic radiation of a frequency ranging from 1 MHz to 10 GHz at the temperature from 50 °C - 300 °C. |
