abstract The present invention relates to a method for detaching cells, particularly on cell culture substrates, by using ultrasound having a frequency that is greater than the natural oscillation frequency of the cells in a liquid solution, whereby the cells can be mechanically detached without enzymes and in a standardized manner destruction-free by the use of ultrasound.
