abstract | The invention relates to a method for capturing biosignals by means of a capturing unit, a plurality of analog electrical biosignals being captured by a plurality of sensors, each of the analog biosignals being converted into digital data representing the corresponding biosignal, the digital data of the biosignals being combined into at least one serial digital data stream on at least one digital data line (L, L2, D1b, D2b), the at least one digital data line (L, L2, D1b, D2b) having a galvanic separation protective (ST, U6, U7), and the at least one serial digital data stream being converted into an interface protocol compatible with the capturing unit after the galvanic separation protective (St, U6, U7). The invention further relates to a device for capturing biosignals by means of a capturing unit, comprising at least one analog/digital converter (U1, U2, U3) having a number of converter inputs (Ch1,...,Ch18) corresponding to at least the number of biosignals to be captured by sensors and converter outputs (D0,...,D7) for analog-digital conversion of the captured analog biosignals, and comprising at least one multiplexer (U4) for converting the parallel digital data representing the biosignals into at least one serial data stream, and comprising at least one electrical digital data line (D1b, D2b) for transmitting the at least one digital data stream, and comprising at least one galvanic separation protective (U7) designed within or by means of the at least one data line (D1b, D2b) for the digital data stream, and comprising at least one interface component (U8) by which a serial data stream transmitted via the at least one data line (D1b, D2b) can be converted into an electrical data stream compatible with an interface protocol for a digital data processing system. |
