A bone fixation device (700) having an elongate body (708), an actuateable gripper (704), (706) disposed on the elongated body, an actuator (710) operably connected to the gripper to deploy the gripper from a retracted configuration to an expanded configuration, and a membrane (712) surrounding at least a portion of the elongate body or the gripper is disclosed. Also disclosed are systems, surgical kits and methods of using a bone fixation device with a membrane cover. |
