titleOfInvention Method for automatically recording the physical capacity of a test person
abstract The measurement method is used for automatic detection of the physical capacity of a test person, preferably of a healthy test person. For this purpose, this test person undergoes an exercise test that requires of him or her an increasing capacity of the cardiovascular system. During the test, the ECG of the test person is read off and, from this, the change in the ST segment is registered. In particular, an ST decrease in relation to the increase of the heart rate for a given time interval is determined as contraction index. From the profile of this change, it is possible to draw conclusions regarding the physical capacity of the test person. This capacity can then be used to establish a recommended course of training. The exercise can be carried out with an ergometer, for example, which generates an exercise profile increasing in stages.
