abstract Disclosed is a phenylene polymer composed of a repeating unit represented by the formula (I) below and a repeating unit represented by the formula (II) below. In this phenylene polymer, the molar ratio between the repeating unit represented by the formula (I) below and the repeating unit represented by the formula (II) below is from 20/80 to 80/20. Also disclosed are a dispersing agent for carbon nanotubes which is composed of such a phenylene polymer, a carbon nanotube composite body composed of such a phenylene polymer and a carbon nanotube, a thin film for solar cells composed of such a carbon nanotube composite body, a dispersion liquid of such a carbon nanotube composite body, and a method for producing a dispersion liquid of such a carbon nanotube composite body.
