The present invention relates to a porous organometallic skeleton material, comprising at least one at least bidentate organic compound bound coordinatively to at least one metal ion, wherein the at least one metal ion is AlIII and the at least bidentate organic compound is an aromatic dicarbonic acid substituted with at least one amino group, selected from the group consisting of terephthalic acid, 2,6-naphthalene dicarbonic acid, 1,4-naphthalene dicarbonic acid, 1,5-naphthalene dicarbonic acid, and the derivates thereof, wherein at least one CH group is substituted in the ring by nitrogen, wherein the skeleton material in powder form has a specific surface according to Langmuir (N2, 77K) of at least 2500 m2/g. The invention further relates to molded bodies containing said materials, the production thereof, and use thereof for the storage and separation of gases. |
