An insecticidal formulation is provided which can be readily applied on a surface, and which results in an insecticidal composition from which insecticide is released over time, without the need to apply an additional energy source. The formulation comprises a volatile insecticide, preferably a volatile pyrethroid insecticide, a solvent soluble polymer, preferably a solvent soluble resin, and a solvent for the polymer. |
