A method of reconstructing at least one object surface included with an image (1) obtained by imaging a region of investigation with a image recording device (10) comprises the steps of generating a primary surface (2) from a point cloud in the image (S1), creating shape coefficients of a global shape approximation of the primary surface (2) using a global harmonic set of functions (S2), subjecting the shape coefficients to a refinement procedure for creating fitted shape coefficients (S3), and generating the object surface (4) with the fitted shape coefficients (S4). Furthermore, an imaging method and an imaging device are described. |
