abstract A device, particularly a bite splint, for measuring occlusal forces at terminal occlusion of teeth, comprises at least one sensor that is provided outside of an occlusal region of the device. A system for the diagnosis of or therapy for bruxism is used to determine the location or size of occlusal forces on the device. By a method, the exact localization and a quantitative determination of occlusal forces on the device are made possible.
