abstract The invention relates to a skin moistening method which is characterized in that a cosmetic preparation is applied to the skin to be treated and is then worked into the skin to be moisturized, using a rotating or oscillating brush, or in that a cosmetic preparation is applied to a brush, the brush is set rotating or oscillating by a drive and the skin to be treated is then treated, using the rotating or oscillating brush. According to both methods, the cosmetic preparation contains at least one moisturizer.
