Display (117) displays one or more prompts instructing an operator to introduce at least one external substance into the patient in accordance with the at least one dosage parameter and displays one or more instructions to the operator to apply an output of an application device (80) to a treatment area (100) of the patient in accordance with the at least one application parameter. The therapeutic procedure may be an Indocyanine Green mediated photothrombosis treatment for age-related macular degeneration.
