titleOfInvention Composition comprising carnitine salt and ph-adjusting agent
abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a composition comprising a carnitine salt, in which a acidic taste specific to the carnitine salt is reduced, and therefore which can be added to an indulgence food such as tea and coffee or a cooked food without adversely affecting the taste or flavor of the indulgence food or the cooked food, and to reduce a acidic taste specific to a carnitine salt. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A carnitine salt and a pH-adjusting agent are used in combination at such a ratio that an aqueous solution of the carnitine salt prepared by dissolving the carnitine salt in water at a concentration of 0.55 g/L can have a pH value of 5 or greater. Thus, disclosed is a composition comprising a carnitine salt and a pH-adjusting agent, wherein the pH-adjusting agent is contained in such an amount that an aqueous solution of the carnitine salt prepared by dissolving the carnitine salt in water at a concentration of 0.55 g/L can have a pH value of 5 or greater.
