abstract |
A heat shrinkable polystyrene film that is high in the shrinkability in the longitudinal direction as its main shrinkage direction, excelling in perforated line openability and exhibits high toughness. The main shrinkage direction of the heat shrinkable polystyrene film agrees with the longitudinal direction. Regulation is made so that the hot water thermal shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction measured after treatment in 90°C hot water for 10 sec, hot water thermal shrinkage ratio in the width direction measured after treatment in 90°C hot water for 10 sec, rectangular tear strength in the width direction measured after 10% shrinkage in the longitudinal direction in 80°C hot water and rupture energy in each of the longitudinal and width directions fall within respective specified ranges. |
