titleOfInvention Device for recharging a battery of a portable ionizing-radiation sensor
abstract The present invention relates to a device for recharging a battery of a portable ionizing-radiation sensor (1) placed on a recharging base (3). The sensor (1) has, on one or more accessible faces (13), several electrical contact areas (8) connected to the battery for powering said sensor (1). The recharging base (3) includes a device (35) for moving one or more movable contacts (4). The movable contacts (4) are connected to an energy source. The movable contacts (4) are mechanically entered into the body of the recharging base (3) and mechanically protruded from the body of the recharging base (3) via one or more openings (9) made in the body of the recharging base (3). The movable contacts (4) are electrically in contact with the contact areas (8) of the sensor (1) if one or more of the contact areas (8) are positioned opposite the openings (9) when said movable contacts (4) protrude from the recharging base (3). The invention is used for example in the field of X-ray or gamma-ray medical imaging.
