titleOfInvention | Neurotrophic factor production accelerating apparatus |
abstract | In order to treat or prevent various diseases such as brain diseases, a neurotrophic factor production accelerating apparatus for accelerating the production of a neurotrophic factor or a neurotrophic factor-like substance in an affected part by a simple method without cell transplantation or injection into the affected part and regardless of the place for treatment is provided. For applying a high-frequency alternating magnetic field in the range of 20 to 180 MHz, 280 to 600 MHz and 700 to 1000 MHz to a cell at a magnetic flux density of 0.01 T or less, the neurotrophic factor production accelerating apparatus is provided with a high-frequency electromagnetic wave generator for generating a high-frequency electromagnetic wave with the above-mentioned frequency. By the magnetic stimulation from the high-frequency alternating magnetic field with the above-mentioned high frequency, an intracellular calcium ion concentration is increased and exocytosis of neurotrophic factors is induced, and also a transcription factor (mRNA) of neurotrophic factors in a cell is increased by magnetic stimulation thereby to accelerate the synthesis of neurotrophic factors and the release thereof to the outside of the cell. |
